Guess who became the topic of conversation in late February during the 2017 General Session of the Utah State Legislature? That’s right: Central Utah Water Conservancy District. At CUWCD, we captured legislators’ attention with reservoir projections that should have everyone dancing in the streets.
As Assistant General Manager Tom Bruton, our guru of water levels, put it: “All Central Utah Project reservoirs are expected to greatly recover from an extended drought period with this year’s projected runoff.”
We can even look forward to some fantastic spills at Stillwater this year. Here are the numbers that have us excited:
